I didn't purchase a lot from Beauty Joint this time around, I feel like the shipping prices rise every time I go to buy something.
I did buy a few things I had been wanting to get from iHerb but they were always out of stock.

There were a few ELF bits that I have been wanting to pick up for awhile but I was struggling to find somewhere that would ship to New Zealand and still had them in stock.

The Studio Baked Blush in Pinktastic.
To me this isn't a blush, it's a highlighter. It is a white shimmer with a few pink flecks. Very similar to MAC Lightscapade but more on the pink side.

For some reason this swatch didn't show up the pink.
This is a wonderful highlighter.

I'm obsessed with highlighters at the moment so I wanted to try out another ELF Shimmering Facial Whip

I have purchased Pink Lemonade in the past but I found it was too pink to use as a highlighter.
So I purchased Spotlight.

This is a plain white shimmer. I haven't tried it on my face yet but it swatches nicely.
I did find it a little bit lumpy when I squeezed it out of the tube but that could be because it is cold.
This smells divine, just like candy.

Everyone needs this! That is possibly why I struggled to find the colour I needed.
The ELF Brow Kit in Ash

If you don't have this go out and buy it. Brows are so important and this makes keeping them in shape all day so so easy!
The left side is a gel. It holds your brows in place all day and doesn't make them look crusty. The right side is a powder, I guess it is for more colour, I don't use it as I find it makes my eyebrows look to dark.

Speaking of eyebrows, they needed attention. My eyebrows are quite long (as in the cover most of the width of my face). I was really unhealthy a while back and my eyebrows were falling out and were extremely thin. Now that my health is back on track they are growing like crazy.
 So I needed to invest in some tools to keep them under control.

I thought diving into it with just tweezers would be asking for disaster.
So I found these Ardell Brow Perfecting Stencils. The packet comes with four reusable stencils. You choose what stencil you prefer (and what fits over your eyebrows, you need to be realistic about it) and then colour between the lines with an eyebrow pencil.

Now I needed something to get rid of the extra hair, I really didn't want to individually pluck the hundreds of hairs that needed to disappear, that would have take all day.

So I got these Kleancolor Wonder Eyebrow Razor.
These are great, it makes getting rid of hair so easy. Just glide it across the hair and out it comes.
They fold in half so that the "blade" is covered, and are easier to store away.

I also picked up some tweezers because I had lost my last pair.

So I picked up the Revlon Vision Tweezer.
These are amazing, they have an 'L' shaped end on them which makes it super easy to pick up stubborn hairs.
They are super grippy and never drop a hair.

I have so many nail polishes but have been eying up China Glazes' Sunsational collection for a long time.
So I added one to my cart.

It was so hard to choose what colour to buy, I may have to go back for more.
But in went Neon & On & On.
I don't have anything else like it, so that was the deciding factor.
It looks like a very pale pink in the bottle but once dried it is a very light. neon pink.
I find you need a few coats to get an opaque finish but it lasts.

♡ MAC Cosmetics Haul ♡

I finally made my first MAC US order.

I couple of months ago I bought my first MAC foundation, I was so in love with it, but I payed $60 for it. 

It was getting too dark as my summer tan faded and I was in desperate need of a lighter one for the winter.

I decided ordering from America was the way to go.

My last foundation was the Studio Fix Fluid. I was after something with a little less coverage this time so I went with the Pro Longwear.

This applies smoothly and gives me a beautiful, flawless finish.
It is long wearing and I have no oil breaking through during the day.

So I was just going to purchase a foundation but decided that because I was saving so much purchasing from America that I might as well spend some extra.
So in the cart went the Pro Longwear concealer.

This is the best concealer I have ever purchased. I use it around my eyes to highlight them and conceal my dark circles.
The pump is really convenient, I love that you aren't contaminating it with bacteria every time you use it.
The pump could do with a small tweak, I find it gives out way too much product, and the pump is to stiff to be able to get out a half pump worth of product.

I had heard so much about the Mineralize Skinfinish. I did a little bit of research and found that Lightscapade is best suited to lighter skintones.

How did I ever live without this? This is such a beautiful product. If you don't have it, you need to go and get it now.
This gives such a beautiful highlight, it makes my cheekbones pop.

I had to purchase a couple of limited edition items, this one was a must for me and I was really hoping I hadn't missed out because I just love Kelly Osbourne.
I was also hoping for one of her lipsticks, but I was a little slow with the online sales so I only picked up the Kelly Mineralize Skinfinish Duo.

I love purple, I want all of my makeup to look like this!
Kelly Osbourne is an inspiration to me, I just love her to bits. I really wish I could have more of her collection.
One half is a Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in light cool beige and the other half is a Mineralize Blush in soft pale pink. I use this as an all over powder, it gives me a perfect finish over top of my foundation.
This smells just like fondant, like the most perfect cake.

When the Alluring Aquatic collection came out I knew I had to have something from it.
When I jumped onto the MAC website it was pretty clear I had missed out on everything I wanted, until I stumbled across one lipstick colour left, Goddess of the Sea.

 I wasn't too excited about the colour, it is a creamsheen finish. It looks a lot different to the photo online, it isn't as purple as I expected.
I haven't worn this one yet just swatched it because even if I hate it, it's no big deal because the packaging is divine!

Because I am so obsessed with purple I had to get a purple lipstick, this one has been raved about by so many people. The beautiful Heroine.

This my my new baby, we go everywhere together.
This is a matte finish, but oh so moisturising. This does not dry my lips out what so ever, this is the first matte lipstick I have found that will give me the longwear of a matte but keep the moisture in my lips like a creme.

John Plunkett Cosmeceuticals Super Wrinkle Cream

John Plunkett Gylco Peel

Did anyone else read this as "Gyno peel". I had a little freak out until I read it properly.

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad

"To use as an eyeliner wet the tip of your brush, dip end into the shadow, and apply on lash line. For base colours, blend shadow from lash line to brow bone with a wide shadow brush using gentle upward strokes. For accent colours, blend shade in the outer crease of your eye gently working inward. Gently blend base and accent colours together using light, feathery strokes. For highlighting gently brush under brow bone."  

I received this in the colour Madrid, these will be great colours for my blue eyes.

The colours are very pigmented but they are a little bit chalky.

I bought this for the bronzer, I only have two others and they are crap, and defiantly no good for contouring (which I am so into atm)
This is great for contouring, it first goes on really dark, or if you want a bronzed look you can blend it out very easily.

ELF High Definition Undereye Setting Powder.
This is my new holy grail, I pop this around my eyes after I apply my concealer and foundation.
I have very creasey eyes, and anything I put around my eyes always sinks into the creases. This has completely stopped any product burrowing into my creases,and lasts all day!
I got this for $3 and will be adding it to my next order so I don't run out.

Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque
I have heard so many people rave about this.
So I decided I would pick one up and give it a go.
This is such a great masque, it is yummy and minty smelling, and it did a great job of cleaning out my pores.

These are amazing, super moisturising!

ELF Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

Another one of my must haves.

These are so efficient at removing my makeup.

I do find them a bit to rough for my eyes, but I just use something a bit more gentle around that area.

They have a plastic top, it clips down which helps keep the wipes moist.
