Pesky Foil Packets!

▲▲▲

We all love getting free samples, but hate it when they come in foil packets.
They make a mess, and who hates the fact that anything can get into them while it sits there waiting to be used again? I know I do.

I always want to give a sample a fair trial before I go out and buy the full sized product.
Most foil packets have more than one use in it, but I absolutely hate leaving an open packet sitting around collecting dust, and who knows what else.

So off to TradeMe I went, trawling through the categories hunting for something to put these samples in. Until finally I found these! (Sorry for the bad quality photos)

They are a 50g container, I couldn't find smaller on TradeMe and wanted something to get here quite fast. I paid $7.20 for four.

I empty the foil packet into the container when I am ready to use it, instead of putting the product in as soon as I get it. The one bonus with the foil packet is that it will keep the product fresh for longer as long as it is still sealed.

I recently started trying out Palmers - Eventone Tone Correcting Cream , I received a 5g sample in a foil packet. I would usually stretch 5gs out to about 3 uses, after that I can't deal with the fact that it's been sitting around opened, so I bin it. I am now on day two of trying this out and I still have three quarters of the packet left. I am quite happy to use it until it is finished because I know it is sealed.

If you have more than one sample on the go, buy some labels to stick on them so you can write what is in  each container. Nothing would be worse than putting a sample Shampoo on your face when you thought it was the sample moisturiser.

I hope this has helped someone make their samples got that little bit further.
